Global Educational Excellence academies are a place where all students are entitled to reach their highest potential through a meaningful educational experience. Immersed in a diversely rich, international community with a range of incomes and literary levels, as well as surrounded by a community aspiring to a better future for themselves and their children via education and support.
Global Educational Excellence academies provide an environment where students are comfortable with their unique heritage, regardless of their color, religion, race or background.
What is our Goal
Our goal is to educate all learners with a solid foundation of skills, knowledge, and understanding in each of the core subjects, foreign language, and technology that are necessary for their continual growth and success as students and as responsible, contributing citizens.
The core curriculum establishes broad outcomes to be achieved by all students as a result of their school experiences and is aligned to the Core Common Standards and Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations. Our academies focus on six subjects in its curriculum: social studies, math, science, language arts, foreign language and writing.
Character development is taught, practiced, and celebrated. Students engage in discussions about ethics and the character traits our academies seek to foster within our students. Students are encouraged to model positive characteristics throughout the school day and are celebrated for embodying certain character traits during monthly award ceremonies.
All of the GEE Academies focus on the following pillars:
Respect, Responsibility, Appreciation, Commitment, Cooperation, Creativity, Curiosity, Empathy, Integrity, Tolerance
English Language Learner
Instructional services offered through English Language Learner (ELL) programs which are designed to meet the needs of limited English speaking students. All of our academies offer comprehensive ELL programs.
An Environment of Diversity
Global Educational Excellence Academies seek to provide every child, regardless of national origin, previous academic performance, or native language with a meaningful and excellent educational experience. To that end, instruction through our English as a Second language (ESL) program is designed to meet each student’s unique needs.
In a constantly changing and increasingly interconnected world, it is more critical than ever that citizens possess an appreciation and understand of other cultures. Part of that understanding is the ability to speak more than one language, language skills and cultural understanding are needed to develop an informed citizenry as well as to function in international and domestic marketplace.
